At this point, only 1 contractor has been found that will remove wild turkeys, so for now PLEASE follow these suggestions: (1) REMOVE ALL FOOD SOURCES – DO NOT FEED ANY WILD ANIMALS (Remove backyard bird feeders, turkeys eat spilled seed under them) (2) SCREAM, WAVE YOUR HANDS & DO NOT ACT AFRAID (3) Opening an umbrella will frighten turkeys or chasing them with a broom (4) If a turkey is pecking at a shiny object such as a vehicle or window, cover the object & chase the turkey away (5) Collect fruit or nuts that fall from trees & dispose of the them offsite.
